EU Right of Withdrawal
Last updated: 17 August 2026
This policy applies to consumers located in the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA) where applicable consumer law provides a statutory right of withdrawal for distance purchases.
It supplements our Returns & Refunds Policy and does not limit any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.
14-Day Right of Withdrawal
If you are an eligible consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from your online purchase within 14 dayswithout giving a reason.
The withdrawal period generally expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.
Where a single order is delivered in multiple shipments, the withdrawal period may begin when the final applicable goods are received, as provided by applicable law.
How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision before the withdrawal period expires.
Please contact:

Email: support@seoulbyruby.com
Your notice should clearly state that you wish to withdraw from your purchase and should include your:
- full name;
- order number;
- email address used for the order; and
- products you wish to return.
You do not need to provide a reason for exercising a valid statutory right of withdrawal.
We will provide return instructions after receiving your request.
Please do not send products back without first contacting us.
Skincare, Hygiene and Sealed Products
Because we sell skincare and personal care products, certain products may be supplied sealed for health protection or hygiene reasons.
Where permitted by applicable law, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once they have been unsealed after delivery.
Accordingly, please do not open, use, test or break the hygiene or protective seal of a product if you may wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
This exception does not affect your rights where a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise fails to comply with applicable consumer guarantees or statutory requirements.
Condition of Returned Products
Where the right of withdrawal applies, you may inspect products only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
You may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for that purpose, as permitted by applicable law.
Products should be returned with their original packaging and accompanying materials wherever reasonably possible.
Returning Your Order
After notifying us that you are exercising your right of withdrawal, you must return the applicable goods within 14 days, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
We will provide the appropriate return address and instructions after your withdrawal request has been received.
For eligible withdrawal returns, you are generally responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, unless we have agreed otherwise or applicable law requires us to bear the cost.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service and retaining proof of postage.
Rituals, Sets and Bundles
Where a ritual, set or bundle was purchased as a single combined product or offer, the complete applicable set should be returned when exercising a right of withdrawal in relation to that set.
If individual products within the set have been unsealed and qualify for a health or hygiene exception under applicable law, this may affect the withdrawal rights applicable to those products.
Nothing in this section affects statutory remedies relating to faulty, damaged or non-conforming products.
Refunds
Where you validly exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, we will refund payments we are required to refund under applicable law.
This generally includes the purchase price and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us for the applicable order.
If you selected a more expensive delivery method, such as express shipping, we are not required to refund the additional amount above our standard delivery cost where applicable law permits.
Refunds will generally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you provide evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first, where permitted by applicable law.
Faulty or Damaged Products
The statutory right of withdrawal is separate from your rights concerning products that are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise do not conform to applicable consumer law.
If there is a problem with your product, please contact support@seoulbyruby.com and refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy.
